Bri Overmyer, LAC
I believe in empowering individuals to reclaim their lives by fostering self-awareness and resilience through thoughtful and impactful therapeutic intervention. My approach is rooted in the belief that each person holds the capacity for profound change and healing, and it is my role to help unlock that potential. By creating a nurturing and non-judgmental space, I encourage clients to explore their past traumas, challenge disruptive thought patterns, and navigate the complexities of their lives with renewed clarity and strength.
I hold a Master's Degree in Addiction Counseling from Colorado State University and have dedicated over eight years to specializing in the treatment of co-occurring disorders, focusing on the intersection of mental health and substance use. My practice integrates various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to provide a customized and holistic healing experience for each client.
My areas of expertise include working with adolescents, adults, substance use disorders, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. I am committed to walking alongside my clients as they develop the tools and insights needed to transform their inner landscapes and embrace a life of recovery and empowerment.
